The next step in the tale was with the beautifully personal and intimate wedding of Kamsin + Shunsuke. I was kindly invited along to second shoot this wedding by local photographer Az of Lemontree Photography I had met Az earlier in the year and this was the first opportunity I had had to work with him . . .

It turned out to be a beautiful day and with such a fun close knit group of family and friends, the beautiful family garden provided the perfect backdrop to the celebration . . .

I love how you captured the blossom on the tree – very apt and something they will remember fondly from their day.ReplyCancel

Now to the next of the back dated blog posts . . . we are still in February, although this time the weather was rather more temperamental . . .

I had met Simon Coulson Simon J Coulson photography a few months before, who kindly invited me along to second shoot for him at the beautiful vintage wedding of Hana & Liam. When we got to the venue (The Square Tower, Portsmouth) we found it was stunningly dressed with all of the knitted and vintage details the pair had meticulously planned, it looked like it was on to be an incredibly beautiful wedding . . .

This is the next of the back dated blog posts . . . and the next chapter in this years story

February this year I was put in touch with a local wedding and events Dj Toby of Your DJ who had a great opportunity to shoot the local wedding of Cassia & Alex at the beautiful and charming Gordleton Mill. The couple had thought of everything, every detail was stunning, from the bouquet to the vividly colourful jelly shot wedding cake (it even had an alcohol free top shot for the expectant bride). It was a wonderful day with all the guests and the happy couple enjoying themselves immensely . . .

This will be the first of many back dated posts . . . As with all stories there is always a beginning, and this was mine.

This time last year I was invited to come 2nd shoot with local wedding photographer Alex Guy, this was a great opportunity to learn and develop photography skills I had developed from my event, landscape, portrait and promotional work
It was a great day and both Rachel & Ben were brilliant, below are a few images taken from that day . . .

After battling for what has been nearly 12 months! I finally have the beginnings of a blog and website, and its about time too!

It has been an incredibly busy year so far seeing us run away from the big smoke back to the quite landscapes of the new forest, starting up my own business, getting engaged and even planning my own wedding! With everything going on its amazing that its only taken 12 months to get this blog and site up and running, but it is now up, running and I can’t wait to start sharing back dated commissions with you all, as well as many Weddings and Assignments to come.
